Talk:Heavy Feather
Hi. Just an FYI that there is an advertisement popping up in the middle of the nonfiction rejection. I can't tell if it's in between breaks or covering information up. Closing it removes the ad itself, but leaves a box with information explaining why the company behind the ads chose to display that particular ad (for men's work pants) to me (a woman with a desk job). Please note this is NOT similar to the many pop up ads that have newly appeared on rejectionwiki the last couple months or so. Those are all standard popups or confined to the margins (such as the additional ad for men's work pants at the bottom as I type this now). This ad is FIXED inside the entry and scrolls up when you do, etc.
I can understand why rejectionwiki may be looking for ways to monetize the site. Something's got to pay for it, right? But ads inside the entries themselves that can't be gotten rid of covering up actual information aren't cool, thanks.
- Yeah, I need to adjust the ad settings so it doesn’t do those big annoying ads. I use the site too and get all the same ads every one else does, but don’t get money for them when I see them. D. A. Hosek (talk) 18:37, 1 July 2022 (PDT)
