Hi (Writer),

Thank you so very much for sharing your writing with me during the window I cracked open to create Issue 14 and, upon further reflection, Issue 15 as well. I appreciate that you would consider my magazine a worthy home for it. Now, the sad part: I'm politely going to decline the opportunity to publish your stories this time around.

I don't yet know when I'll open the next submission window, but I sincerely hope to see your name pop up in my inbox when I do.
