We regret to inform you that although your submission to the FictionWeek

Literary Review was among the final group picked by the selection committee, your submission was not chosen for the Fall 2024 issue.

There are many reasons why a story or poem might not be chosen, and often it has nothing to do with the quality of the writing. The submission committee tries to select a variety of topics and writing styles, but of the hundreds and hundreds of submissions we receive, only a very few can be published.

However, because you were one of the finalists, we would like to encourage you to submit another story or poem for our Spring 2025 issue. See our new submissions guidelines at:
