Hi Name, I'm writing to let you know we are going to pass on this piece. I send this letter with apologies because getting rejected always sucks. [Perhaps a personal note or not. “I really enjoyed the feel and beats of this.”] There are never any good reasons for rejection, except for the usual "not a fit" at this time.
