Dear [name],

Thank you for your submission to the 2019 Loraine Williams Poetry Prize competition. We are sorry to report that the work you submitted has not been selected for publication.

We offer our congratulations to Rosalie Moffett, who was selected by judge Stephen Dunn as this year's winner. Moffett will receive $1,500 for her poem "Giving Away The Dental Hygienist's Idea For A Patent," which will appear in our Winter 2020 issue.

We hope you will keep us in mind when submitting your work going forward. The eighth annual Loraine Williams Poetry Prize submission period will run from March 1 through April 15, and our current general submission period runs from August 15, 2019–May 15, 2020. Please note that the competition entry fee and the processing fee for general submissions are waived for current subscribers.
